On
Monday and Tuesday 25-26 June, three of our wonderful teachers Kerrey Williams,
Shirley Gavin and Maree Patsanis represented Design at the annual Try a Trade
event held at the Kevin Betts Stadium in Mt Druitt. The event is organised to
give students an idea of what careers and/or trades they could study and enter
into after school.
The
Design teachers gave demonstrations in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design
and Graphic Design and showed student samples from all areas. The students were
drawn to the Design stand were they could design and produce their own badge
that proudly display the NADC website with some fun/creative images and words.
