ArchCad Fundamentals short course at NADC 2015

This course provides an introduction to the functions of ArchiCAD software for interior designers and interior decorators.  The course includes an overview of the program; general orientation to the ArchiCAD working environment; description of working of tools; manipulation of objects; using window door and object library parts.  There is also an introduction to generating 3D views of the model: - 3D paraline - perspectives - 3D sections - introducing the use of pens, materials, layers.

When: 6:00 – 9:00pm, Wednesday 26/8/2015 to 30/9/2015

Where: Block P, Room PG:41, Kingswood TAFE, Gate 2, O’Connell Street, Kingswood.


This is a sample of an ArchiCad designed produced by a student from Advanced Diploma Interior Design, Nepean Arts and Design Centre. This is a sample of the potential of ArchiCad after lots of practice within the program. This short course introduces you to basic elements and language to enable you to develop your skills.

Visual Merchandising and Interior Design and Decoration student achieves industry acknowlegement with Best In State (NSW) Display at Myer 2015



We would like to congratulation Mave De Poaz for being awarded Best In State (NSW) Display for Myer in March 2015 for her 'Kylie Minogue' bed linen display. This is a National in-store competion


 
Mave successfully completed her Diploma of Visual Merchandising and Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration at the same time at Nepean Arts and Design Centre, Kingswood TAFE in 2014 and is now acheiving great success and recognition in industry.

When informing us of her acheivement she also made this lovely remark "My humble thanks & appreciation to all the wonderful teachers at TAFE! "
